Solve for Tomorrow

In 2023, I was part of the team tasked with creating Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow (SFT) website, a global initiative that empowers students to use STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to address real-world community challenges. The website was to be hosted by Samsung, serving as the official platform for students, educators, and participants to learn about the program and submit entries.

At the beginning, we faced a significant challenge: we were provided with almost no design assets, only the SFT logo. To overcome this, I researched and cross-referenced Samsung’s SFT websites from other countries, analyzing design patterns, user flows, and content structures to establish a foundation. From there, I designed the entire user journey and visual system from scratch.

Key Contributions

  • Wireframing & UX: Designed the full site structure and user flows in Adobe XD, ensuring clarity for students, educators, and stakeholders.

  • Visual Design: Created banners, hero images, and promotional graphics in Photoshop, developing a consistent look and feel aligned with Samsung’s global brand.

  • Brand Alignment: Ensured all visuals aligned with Samsung’s identity while adapting to the educational and inspirational tone of the program.

  • From Scratch Execution: Took the project from logo only starting point to a fully realized digital experience ready for Samsung hosting.
